1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Studlied. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Studlied platform ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), an online marketplace that facilitates connections between students and independent tutors.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including students, tutors, and visitors.
2. Age Requirements and Children’s Privacy
2.1 Minimum Age
Studlied is not intended for children under the age of 13. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the Platform.
2.2 Users Between 13 and 18
Users between the ages of 13 and 18 may be required to obtain parental or legal guardian consent to use the Platform, where required by applicable local law.
2.3 COPPA Compliance
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that an account has been created by a child under 13, we will promptly delete the account and all associated data.

4.1 Registration

Users may register as Students or Tutors. Each individual may maintain only one account unless explicitly authorized by Studlied.
4.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@studlied.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You are solely responsible for your account and all actions performed through it.

7.1 Responsibility for Content
You are solely responsible for all content you post or share on the Platform ("User Content").
7.2 No Endorsement
Studlied does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of User Content.
7.3 License to Studlied
By submitting User Content, you grant Studlied a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.
7.4 Content Moderation
We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
8. Tutoring Services and Payments
8.1 Platform Role
Studlied is a marketplace platform only. We do not provide tutoring services and do not employ tutors. Tutors act as independent service providers.
8.2 Payments Outside the Platform
All payments for tutoring services are arranged directly between users outside the Platform. Studlied does not process, handle, or guarantee payments.
8.3 No Financial Responsibility
Studlied is not responsible for payment disputes, refunds, or financial arrangements between users.
8.4 No Guarantee of Outcomes
We do not guarantee the quality, effectiveness, or outcomes of tutoring services.
9. Content Moderation and Enforcement
We may use automated and manual systems to detect policy violations. Violations may result in warnings, content removal, suspension, or account termination at our discretion.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Platform Content
All Platform content, excluding User Content, is owned by Studlied and protected by intellectual property laws.
10.2 User Content Ownership
You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the license granted in these Terms.
10.3 Trademarks
"Studlied" and related logos are trademarks of Studlied and may not be used without prior written permission.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
The Platform may include links or integrations with third-party services. Studlied is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studlied shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Platform.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Studlied from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform, User Content, or violation of these Terms.
15. Account Termination
15.1 Termination by You
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
15.2 Termination by Studlied
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or to protect the integrity of the Platform.
15.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access the Platform will cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

If you have a dispute related to the Platform, you agree to first contact support@studlied.com to attempt informal resolution.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Studlied regarding your use of the Platform.
